From the Liberia Airport:
DIRECTIONS TOÂ Villas del SolÂ

Once you get out of the Liberia airport you will be hitting Highway 21. Make a right (south) and follow this road for approx. 50 miles (83 km), until you see some signs saying Nicoya and the stoplights. Take a right. This road will take you to Nicoya, which is approx. 1 mile from this point. Follow this same road that will also take you out of Nicoya in the Samara direction for the next 30 kilometers. About 5 kms before Samara you'll find a service station on your left (it's the only one along this road). 100 meters past this point take a right. This is a dirt road that will take you to Nosara. From this point to Nosara it is about 25 kms or 16 miles.
When you reach Nosara, you will spot some signs saying Nosara Development, Café de Paris, Marlin Bill's or National Car Rental. Follow the same road for just a little over a mile until the road widens at a place called Five Corners. You'll see some signs saying Condos Villas del Sol and Lagarta Lodge. Take a left. This is the road that goes uphill. Follow it until you see a tall yellow column saying Boca Nosara on the left.Take a left and go downhill. Make the first left and follow this road until you get to the Condos Villas del Sol complex on the left. Enter the gate and look for Daniel who is the caretaker.
